Kingdom Gardens Mandazi

This is a simple recipe that will have you gobbling down every last piece of soft and tasty mandazi’s you make. Hence why we advise you make many of them!


– 1 kg all purpose wheat flour

-2 table spoon margarine

– 5 tablespoons sugar

-½ teaspoon salt

-1 teaspoon yeast ( 11 grams)

– 1 ½ pkts of milk ( 750ml)

– 1-1 ½ cups water

-4 eggs

-1 ltr of oil for frying


-Rub flour and margarine together until crumbly

-Mix yeast, salt and sugar into flour mixture

-Make a well in the mixture and pour the eggs and the milk into the well. Use a little water to begin forming dough

-Add the remaining water into the dough and knead until it is of a soft, doughy consistency

– Cover the dough for 30 min with a dump cloth to allow it to rise

-Dust your surface with flour and roll out the dough into desired shapes

-Deep-fry in hot oil

-Serve and enjoy!!


Remember when you feel too lazy to make them, just come over and you will have  all mandazi’s you want with little work!
